Florida Aquarium Wedding - December 9th 2012

Heather & Rob were married outdoors on the patio at the Florida Aquarium. For those that don't know, the aquarium is located at the Port of Tampa which is also where the cruise ships leave from. Normally they leave earlier in the day but because of fog they were delayed giving the wedding ceremony a fun backdrop. It's crazy how big the ships are up close.

After the ceremony & cocktail hour the guests were invited in to the Coral Reef room for the rest of the reception. It's always fun to watch the reactions as guests enter the room for the first time and are greeted by the 500,000 gallon aquarium that makes up the entire back wall. Picture taking always immediately ensues as giant fish, moray eels, sharks & sea turtles swim past.

Heather & Rob were great. They're both easy going, open and ready to have a good time. The reception was a blast & the time just flew by with all the traditional activities & dancing. One of the highlights of the evening was when Heather's dragon boat team assembled for a group photo; many even brought their paddles. Also a big thanks to Natalie at the aquarium. I've worked at the aquarium quite a bit and it's great to see how Natalie is able to adapt to each bride & groom & their unique personalities & make their day all that it can be.
