Genoway & Bevil Wedding Reception

Steve & Stephanie’s reception was at The Tampa Club. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. The Tampa club has the most spectacular views. It’s located at the top of the Bank of America building on the 42nd floor in downtown Tampa. It looks out over Curtis Hixon park, The University of Tampa, Bayshore Blvd and the Bay.

Steve & Stephanie were so much fun. It was obvious how happy they were to be together with all of their friends and family. I lost track of how many hugs Steve gave out. The most important thing they stressed to me was they wanted great music & lots of dancing. I’m happy to say that we had a ton of both. I love taking requests too. It enables me to play songs I probably wouldn’t on my own. Case in point Steve’s brother asked for Right Said Fred’s “I’m too sexy”. And they all loved it.

I have to say the vendors knocked this one out of the park. Sandra at the Tampa Club always does an amazing job. Check out this décor! The uplighting was provided by Music On The Move and just look at how it sets the room off. This was my first time working with Rob with Moorman Photographics and he brought his A game. I’m looking forward to seeing the photos from the formal exit. Steve & Stephanie left via the grand staircase as their guests threw rose petals.

Ian & Angie’s reception was at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center. A lesser known beautiful venue right on the water. You know it’s going to be a good night when the bridal party is dancing as they come in for the grand entrance. There were also a lot of silly pictures taken at the photo booth. Angie’s Sisters sang their sorority song to her and capped it off with Ice Ice Baby. Not to be outdone the guys did a rousing rendition of The Devil Went Down To Georgia. At the end of the evening the guests lit sparklers for Ian & Angie’s exit.

Zrelak Glasgow Wedding Reception

Alicia & Lucas' Reception was at Jackson's Bistro. A lovely venue over looking the water to the Tampa skyline. Lucas & Alicia set the tone for the reception with their entrance to Owl City's "Good Time". They kept the guest list small & apparently only invited those the liked to dance. The dance floor stayed full with over 2 hours of dance time. When it was time to say goodbye Alicia & Lucas chose Semisonic's "Closing Time" as their last dance. With the subtle hint "You don't have to go home (but you can't stay here.) Unless of course you want to go over to the club at Jacksons.

Vendors: Jackson's Bistro, Rebecca Samora (813) 277-0112. Photographer, Raquel with Raquel Sergio Photography (813) 240-5113 . Entertainment - Music On The Move of course, DJ/MC Joshua Smeaton.

One of our own got married this year! Josh & his beautiful bride Donea were married under a giant oak tree filled with hanging lanterns. Scott with Life's Highlights took some amazing photos. They of course had the DJ Premier Package, L.E.D. Up Lighting and a Custom Gobo. (Their names in lights.) It was a wonderful event with lots of fun had by everyone.
